Martins Jacob is currently a member of the Technical Support Team for GLG (Gerson and Lehrman Group, Inc.), based in New York, USA.

He has over 29 years of active, proven track record and hands-on experience in technical operations and interfacing with different clients.

His last assignment was as Well Services Country Manager for ExxonMobil and Noble for Schlumberger in Equatorial Guinea. Schlumberger is a global leader in the Oil and Gas industry and a Fortune 500 Energy Corporation headquartered in Houston.

He has worked in multiple countries, including Nigeria, India, Angola, United Arab Emirates, the USA, Congo, Tunisia, Libya, Algeria, Ivory Coast, and Ghana, in various positions of increasing technical and management responsibilities.

FIELD EXPERIENCE

Martins Jacob has experience with Agbami, Egina, Bonga and Abo fields open-hole gravel-pack completion operations, utilizing Halliburton’s proprietary concentric annular pack methodology, with specific reference to Schlumberger’s stimulation service integration in the planning and execution phase.

He was in Tunisia in 2010 and 2014 as Field Service Manager, where he managed Schlumberger Hydraulic Fracturing and Stimulation business for ENI, British Gas, Pioneer Natural Resources and Storm International, covering both offshore and desert field operations.

The first time, 12 multi-stage fracturing operations and Highway Technology were successfully carried out in Africa and Europe without any service quality and HSE issues. The desert operation grew the business from $14M/year to $25M/year with 52% profits, due to flawless delivery of 12 multi-stage fracturing operations.

He was at the Schlumberger Middle East and Asia Learning Centre (MLC), Abu Dhabi, from January 2008 to February 2010. He was among the first set of Well Services Oil field instructors who started at the beginning of MLC Engineers and Supervisors.
